An original production background from the Disney Studios animated Donald Duck & Goofy short, "No Sail" (1945). Featuring a simple yet brilliant rendering of a yellow sunset above the ocean, the hand-painted background was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The background represents an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the short. Measuring 10"x12" overall, with the image itself measuring 8.5"x11", the background is in very good condition with minimal paper discoloration, edge wear and pin holes due to age, handling and studio use.
